Jamie Heintz - Musical Director
Having been born on opening night of Carnival, Jamie Heintz comes from a long line of theatre performers. She is the fifth generation of her family to be involved with theatre. Jamie started performing in musical theatre at the age of four and has performed in over a hundred musicals with various directors including Alex Urban, Sonya Urquhart and Dr. Paul Waldo. She attended CSU Sacramento, where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Media Communications and a minor in Psychology. After working as a radio producer in Sacramento for a few a few years, Jamie decided to move back to Solano County. She has worked as an assistant director, choreographer and musical director with various theatre groups. This year she received two Arty Award nominations for her musical direction for Solano Youth Theatre and won for her work on Wizard of Oz. Jamie loves to work with youth and teach them what so many great teachers have taught her.
Bobbie Stephenson - Costume Designer
Bobbie Stephenson has been a Costume Designer for the past 34 years. First working for Alex Urban, who had theatre groups in 12 cities throughout the state as well as Justin-Sienna’s Performing Arts Center. Her designs have been sent on tour in Russia, Paris, London, New Zealand, Broadway and throughout the United States worn by students from various countries for multiple musicals. She also designed for The Company for Sonya Urquhart, Harbor Theatre, Solano Youth Theatre and Solano College. She has received numerous Arty Award nominations and won twice for Solano Youth Theatre’s Zombie Prom and Carnival. She is an Elly award winner for Harbor-Solano Youth Conservatory’s Bugsy Malone for 2002-2003.
